Behind the Success of Arise Nigeria

Arise Nigeria stands as a reality musical talk show that spanned two impactful seasons, championed and created under the guidance of Lola Sanusy, the Operations Director at TVC. Unlike typical musical contests, this brainchild of Lola Sanusy  aimed not just for entertainment but for a profound shift in the mindset of average Nigerians. Its goal was to steer conversations toward positivity and constructive discussions about the country.
The show’s success was attributed to the collective efforts of executive producers Lola Sanusy, Dele Alake, and TVC, along with the collaboration of LTV8’s Lekan Ogunbanwo. Their dedication showcased Nigeria’s diverse talents and rich cultural heritage, ensuring no name went unnoticed

A Transformative Musical Talk Show

The Journey of Arise Nigeria

The journey commenced with enthusiastic registrations from thousands of Nigerians who auditioned at the TVC grounds. Judges meticulously sifted through live performances to shortlist the top 20 contestants, organizing them into four groups for live national TV performances. The climactic moments unfolded across three large sessions to determine the ultimate winner.

Celebrating Nigerian Talent

Participants from varied cultural backgrounds and regions across Nigeria congregated at the LTV grounds for live studio audience recordings. The panel of celebrity judges, featuring Aduke, Tee Mac Itseli CON, Sir Kelly, and renowned music teacher Mrs. Omotosho, witnessed astounding performances including the Nigeria Orchestra and a breathtaking rendition of the National Anthem by 3-year-old Gracelyn Seyilola Ayoola Sanusy.

Building a Library of Patriotism

Looking ahead, Arise Nigeria aims not only to celebrate Nigerian richness but also to build a library of patriotic songs portraying the nation's diversity. These songs will be made freely accessible to all, both at home and abroad, further reinforcing Nigeria's cultural wealth and unity.
